Gentle hands-on introduction to Python programming

This course introduces Python programming and is organized online over three full days (14, 21, 28 January). With the help of plenty of hands-on exercises, you will get introduced to the different types of variables in Python, the peculiarities of Python and good programming habits. This course will provide you with an ideal stepping stone for further developing programming skills in Python.
 

TCR analysis workshop

 

The TCR analysis workshop is designed for researchers seeking to enhance their T-cell receptor (TCR) repertoire analysis skills. The 3-hour workshop will offer an intensive hands-on training on state-of-the-art TCR repertoire analysis tools. Participants will be guided through the TCR interpretation process, from annotated immunosequencing data to detailed insights, including exploratory analysis with TCR_Explore, unsupervised TCR clustering with ClusTCR, and predicting epitope specificity using TCRex. Basic Python skills are recommended.

 

deCYPher

"Decipher cytochrome P450 enzymes (CYPs) by digital tools to produce flavonoids and terpenoids" (deCYPher) is a €6 million Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Actions (RIA) project, coordinated by Ghent University. deCYPher aims to develop a standardised platform to implement artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to overcome current hurdles in industrial biotechnology and unlock the full potential in biotech engineering.

In the FWO International Research Infrastructure call of  2022, ELIXIR Belgium’s project proposal has been awarded 7.8M€ for the period of 2023-2026.

The Research Foundation Flanders (FWO) awarded the ELIXIR Belgium consortium a 4-year grant of 7.8M€ to continue to operate the Belgian ELIXIR Node, providing services to life science researchers. This infrastructure funding allows the partners to expand and improve our portfolio of services.

ATCR23: The third Antwerp T-cell receptors meeting
