Helis Symposium: Optimizing industry readiness in The Netherlands and Flanders

On June 17-18 2021, the Helis Academy, with Data Analysis and Data Stewardship as one of its pillars, is organizing 2 half-day virtual events related to “Optimizing industry readiness in The Netherlands and Flanders”.

The symposium will exhibit the respective projects, cross-border collaboration programmes and how careers in life sciences are stimulated and supported during the presentations by flanders.bio, Interreg Vlaanderen-Nederland and the keynote of Academic Transfer. Afterwards, it is possible to join one of three interactive parallel sessions on Helis’ domains: (1) Data analysis & stewardship (2) Technology & life sciences and (3) Business development.

Agenda

  • Day 1 (17 June 2021) contains a keynote of the CEO of Academic Transfer and interactive sessions about the Helis pillars. 
  • Day 2 (18 June 2021) there are virtual company visits, a.o. to BASF and Ontoforce.

The symposium is aimed at professionals working in training and capacity building in institutes, research projects and companies, as well as policymakers and funders, industry representatives and anyone who would like to gain more insight into the cross-border project and/or the Helis Academy domains (data analysis & stewardship, technology & life sciences and business development).
